They're back . . .
She's a little young for me - but her spiritual chops are off the charts . . . |
About 4 or 5 months ago, the money tree I happened upon several years ago finally withered, died and well, I had to return to work.
I took this blog down for a bit. Given that I was attempting to convince people of the seriousness of my intentions to join the work force, I didn't see anything to be gained by having them read my thoughts regarding - well.... maybe people just like them. Since no one was foolish enough to offer me any formal employment (with or without having read my meandering, post-Marxist drivel) it seems only fair that I return to doing something I actually enjoy doing.
All six of you who used to read this blog, maybe you'll notice it again.
The other seven billion of you who haven't read it yet have no idea what your missing. In coming months, I'll be exploring the metaphysical implications of Downtown Abbey - which I've not seen yet, but it really seems like one of those things you don't actually need to watch. At one point in my life I was absolutely in love with Elizabeth McGovern. And I've been to the UK a few times. As well, I have lived Downtown on and off over the years. Lastly - and perhaps most significantly - as far as I know I've never met anyone named Abbey. I'm not even sure if the series concerns the proper name or not. But . . . well, you can see how fascinating it is when I begin to connect dots.
We'll also be looking into - oh why spoil it?
